...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern
Sullivan, northeastern Knox, northwestern Martin, southwestern Greene
and northern Daviess Counties through 515 PM EDT...
At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Linton to near Russellville. Movement was
east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bicknell, Odon, Lyons, Carlisle, Elnora, Oaktown, Bruceville,
Plainville, Sandborn, Edwardsport, Switz City, Newberry, Crane,
Freelandville, and Pleasantville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
