...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Tippecanoe, west
central Clinton and northern Montgomery Counties through 645 AM
EDT...
At 612 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of West Lafayette to near
Lafayette to 7 miles northeast of Williamsport. Movement was
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, West Lafayette, Shadeland, Dayton, Mulberry, Linden,
Clarks Hill, New Richmond, and Purdue University.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 156 and 175.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 28 and 29.
