Last September was also warm, with Indy temps 3.6 degrees above average, and a big 7 days at or above 90. This year we’re running 4.1 above average, but only one day hit 90. When does it end? Not for the next three days, as a strong upper ridge keeps precipitation to the west. But it will break down, and allow a cold front to approach by late Monday THAT spells showers and storm chances. Then: a secondary wave brings showers and even cooler temps Friday. From Monday through Wednesday we may add another inch of rain on to an already large September total.
