Today’s Weather

January 27th, 2008 No Comments

Nice and bright, and that’s all right.  Warmer breezes Monday, and then it gets almost as busy as B. Spears’ PR people Monday night and Tuesday.  All weather, all the time.

Today’s Weather

Hum drum.  Hum-drum?  Humdrum?  The spellchecker (spell checker?) is letting all of them through.  But it is kind of “blah.”  And “it is what it is.”  Is that a new cliche, or I am just now noticing it?  I guess it depends on what your definition of “it is what it is” is.  Man, is […]

Today’s Weather

January 25th, 2008 No Comments

Greetings from Studio B.  Look at that hair-thank goodness SOME one is not on TV today.  Here’s something that WILL look good:  the sky.  Sunshine, and single digits this morning.  More clouds later today, and another medium chance of small snow tonight.  Sunday’s the nicer weekend day, and this place has all the meteorological diversions you need.

Monday Weather

January 21st, 2008 No Comments

UPDATE AT 11AM:  I’m raising the ante to 1-3″ overnight, to account for the possibility of higher totals in the northwest/west part of the viewing area.  Heaviest snow looks to fall between 3 and 7 am.  Once advantage of my strange shift:  I’ll be at work already.
FOR TODAY:  Some improvement, with temps in the 20’s, […]

How Low?

January 19th, 2008 No Comments

At least it’s sunny today.  I’m about to make a personal appearance at Sam’s Club.  Not as a public figure, just someone who wants to buy bottled water in bulk.  I’ll put on a bulky coat.  The chill advisory remains for tonight, and the ongoing forecast is still good…zero to five below for the actual […]

Shattered!

January 7th, 2008 8 Comments

It will be warm enough to shatter the previous high temperature record of 64 degrees, set 101 years ago today.  Man, we still had DIAL UP back then!  An Indianapolis record was already broken Sunday night, when the temperature reached 63 degrees.  That record went back to 1880. There’s a rain chance today, but a […]

Tuesday Weather

December 18th, 2007 No Comments

No “biggity” today through the rest of the work week.  Dave Smiley on WZPL claimed Monday morning that he looked forward to my use (probably over-use) of that decidely non meteorological term.  That’s why I’m here.  I may end up putting sprinkles/flurries in tonight’s forecast, but that’s about it.  There should be more sun than […]
